After a year as a Gen Y entrepreneur, I decided that I wanted to help other Gen Y’s in their business planning needs. Generation Y: A Generation of Entrepreneurs lists a study showing the job title of “owner” as the fifth most popular job title for Gen Y’s. The study also mentions that the other often cited are server, manager, intern and sales associate, Gen Y’s are having a rough time finding jobs. Entrepreneurship is an excellent way to change that.
Apparently becoming an entrepreneur is the new rebel way for Gen Y’s and younger. Generation Y Is Born To Startup gives us some helpful advice when deciding to become an entrepreneur.
