If you purchase an estate planning package, I will provide you with an estate planning checklist. However, you should begin collecting relevant information that you already know or that you think you know that is needed for your estate planning session.
Family facts should be relatively easy for you to gather. You will also need to gather information for your assets and liabilities. Your assets can include bank accounts, securities, real estate, business interests, personal property, retirement benefits, life insurance, or any other assets you can think of.
If you are married, with a partner or single, you should talk to family members about your estate planning and your wishes, especially if you have children. You should think about how you want to provide for your family when you cannot. Even if you do not have children, you should think about what will happen to your assets.
These are some considerations that you need to think about; unfortunately I do not know what your wishes are and will need your help make your estate plan.
