So if you have not seen my page about my virtual law office, you may be asking why would I want to use an attorney that does not have a bricks and mortar office.
When I was looking at starting my own practice I took a class about virtual law offices, I Googled virtual law offices and I had a law school friend who started her own virtual law office. One of the articles I found was on Lawyerist.com; Steph Kimbro is a leading attorney in virtual law offices and their development. I figured that these three women had done something right, so why not lets give it a go. They all seem more than happy with their lives and not overworked like traditional lawyers. So, Massie Law, PLLC, was born.
So why should all of that matter to you? There are benefits for you, just as much as there are for me. Well a virtual law office will give you a feeling of control. When there are documents available for you to review, you can do so in your secure client portal, without an appointment and without additional costs. That also means that you review the documents on your own time more importantly. Any questions or comments on the documents, you can submit them right then and there for me to respond. Remember the secure client portal I talked about, that is actually secure; it is the same level of security that banks use. I still have to abide by the Rules of Professional Conduct, just because I operate my law practice online does not allow me to not be ethical.
